A weird and wacky South African Indie Studio with a obsession on creating strange little indie experiences as well as strive towards building a strong Indie Publishing Label for other South African and African developers.

Skermunkel is a small Indie Studio based in Randburg, South Africa and headed by Tiaan Gerber. Tiaan has over 8 years of Professional industry experience and has developed and published games for Steam (PC, Mac, Linux), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS.

Now, Skermunkel would like to expand to another new platform and create Web-based version of our games and we feel itch.io is the perfect premium web-based games platform for our needs and the projects we want to share with you all.
